The Shikiri ottoman is a Japanese design classic that combines a foldable metal frame, a cotton fabric seat and wooden supports, resulting in an effortlessly light and airy esthetic. Named and inspired by Japanese partitions and folding screens, the Shikiri ottoman is adorned with a geometric pattern by Rika Kawato. The durable sailcloth molds to the contours of the sitter, and if needed, the entire seat fabric can be cleaned or replaced. The Shikiri ottoman can be used as a footstool for lounge chairs or as a portable stool on its own, and its foldable structure enables effortless storage and transportation.
