's Kumo lounge chair is named after the Japanese word for cloud – looking at the chubby pillows on the sofa, it's easy to understand how that name came to be. The gist of the single-seater, designed by Anderssen & Voll, lies exactly there, in its cushions. They are not only incredibly soft but also practical in terms of delivery or, say, moving day: the lounge chair is delivered flat-packed and can easily be assembled on-site by sliding the cushions in place into the lounge chair's simple metal frame. Typical of the Norwegian design duo, the lounge chair has a very minimalist appearance, albeit at the same time being comfortable and plush. The chair is part of the Kumo sofa collection which was chosen as the Furniture of the Year in the Dezeen Awards 2018.
